Lizzie Acker Partnership

This was one of my longest running projects while interning at Wilks Communications Group in Chicago. I was tasked with the creation of media lists, assisting in writing pitches, reaching out to reporters, and assisting in interview coordination.

Successes included placements in Taste of Home, Mashed, Eater, and People. The interviews were also syndicated on Yahoo, MSN, Flipboard, and more both domestically and internationally. This project culminated in hundreds of millions of views for our client.

This project required problem solving and included some learning curves.

During one interview, the reporter's recording device went out. Rescheduling the interview quickly enough to maintain the timeline while also working for both our international partner and the reporter required quick communication and coordination, but ended with a beautiful placement for the client.
